About Heptode

Heptode is a privately owned French company founded in 2010 by Jean-Luc Chtioui. We design and manufacture high-end guitar effects pedals and amplifiers, and develop audio plugins based on our own analog and digital modeling technologies.

Alongside product development, Heptode provides maintenance and repair services for guitar amplifiers and effects pedals. This extensive hands-on experience is an essential part of our approach to designing reliable, responsive and easy-to-use musical equipment.

About Jean-Luc

Jean-Luc is responsible for the design, development, manufacturing and repair work at Heptode. After working for many years as an engineer in the telecommunications industry, he founded Heptode in 2010 to focus on musical electronics.

Since then, he has combined electronic circuit design, software development and experience gained from repairing thousands of amplifiers and effects pedals to create Heptode’s analog products and digital modeling technologies.
